The Unread Bookclub

The first rule of Unread Book Club, is that you don't have to read the book.  In fact, you shouldn't read it.  Let someone else read it for you!

Each month two members of the Unread Book Club will volunteer to read two business related books chosen by the members of the club.  At the next meeting, those members will present their books to the group and answer questions.

 Work Nimbly will buy the books, so you just have to bring yourself!  We'll be serving vegetarian lunch too!

$5 guarantees you a spot, please bring your own table or blanket.

Want to donate items for us to sell? No problem! Donations are being accepted until April 26th, Monday through Friday from 9am - 4pm at Work Nimbly.

Pecha Kucha Night

We're so excited to have Pecha Kucha night coming to Work Nimbly!  Pecha Kucha is a delightful evening where folks present on...whatever they like!  They are a social phenomenom started in 2003 by Klein Dytham architecture in Tokyo. The format is simple - each presenter gets 20 slides X 20 seconds each. It has now spread to over 800 cities worldwide who host PechaKucha Nights regularly.

The Art of Creative Writing

These are a series of on-going classes designed to help get your creative juices flowing.  Come for one or all of them!

Classes are $35 each or $100 for four.  Walk-ins will be welcome.

  • Learn how to tap into your creative side!
  • Leave grammar & spelling at home!
  • Give self-criticism the boot! And finally, let go of past negative judgment from others!
  • Have fun with short and unusual in-class writing exercises!
  • Get written feedback every week from Suzi on works turned in after each class.
